Convicted Sex Offender Epstein Attended Trump’s 1993 Wedding, New Photos Reveal

Dhaka, July 23, 2025: Newly uncovered photos and videos have shed fresh light on the past relationship between U.S. President Donald Trump and notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. These materials, recently published by CNN, provide further evidence of the close ties between the two during the 1990s.

The photos, taken in 1993, confirm for the first time that Epstein attended Trump’s wedding to Marla Maples at the Plaza Hotel in New York. Epstein’s presence at the high-profile event was not widely known until now. Additionally, archival footage from a 1999 Victoria’s Secret fashion show in New York shows Trump and Epstein laughing and chatting together before the runway event.

CNN’s investigative team, KFile, discovered the footage while reviewing archival videos of Trump at various events in the 1990s and 2000s. At least one video clearly shows the two men together. The photos and videos, which predate any legal issues related to Epstein, have not been widely reported until recently and come amid renewed scrutiny of Trump’s association with Epstein. The U.S. Justice Department’s recent decision not to release long-promised files related to Epstein has sparked outrage among some members of Trump’s “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) movement, who expected significant revelations about Epstein’s alleged co-conspirators. When contacted by CNN on Tuesday regarding the wedding photos, Trump responded, “You’ve got to be kidding me,” before calling CNN “fake news” and hanging up. Epstein faced allegations of sexually abusing underage girls starting in 2005, leading to his arrest in 2006. He was arrested again in 2019 on sex trafficking charges but died in prison, with authorities concluding it was a suicide, though conspiracy theories about his death persist. Trump and Epstein’s relationship began in the 1980s, and they were frequently seen together at social events in New York and Palm Beach. However, no law enforcement agency has ever brought charges against Trump related to Epstein’s activities. According to a Washington Post report, their relationship soured in the mid-2000s due to a dispute over a valuable property in Palm Beach. Prior to this, their friendship was well-documented. In 2019, NBC released footage from 1992 showing Trump and Epstein socializing at a party. In October 1993, renowned photographer Dafydd Jones captured an image of Trump and Epstein together at the Harley-Davidson Cafe opening in New York. In an interview with CNN this week, Jones recalled, “There was this guy who caught my attention with the way he was looking. He gave me his card, which read: Jeffrey Epstein, Financial Advisor.” Two months later, in December 1993, Jones was assigned by a media outlet to photograph Trump’s wedding, where he captured an image of Epstein entering the venue. “I recognized him as he entered,” Jones said. “I only photographed people who stood out to me.” Jones added, “I wish I had taken more photos of him with Trump. I was tasked with covering the wedding, so I stood with the press and took photos. The image you have is from the contact sheet, as the negatives were lost.”

Another photo from the LIFE magazine archive, reviewed by CNN, shows Epstein smiling in the background at Trump’s wedding, partially visible among guests, including radio star Howard Stern and TV host Robin Leach. Many photos from the wedding, available on Google Images and Shutterstock, were examined by CNN, leading to the discovery of additional images featuring Epstein.
